Bad Omen

Game summary

Bad Omens is an adventure puzzle game inspired by Tiny Thief. 

In an Aztec temple, 2 brothers must work together to overcome the obstacles, traps, and enemies to reach their goal at the center of the temple.

Play through the game to discover and overcome the difficulties of growth and change.

Premise

When children come of age, they must enter the temple of Xolotl to take part in the “Coming of Age Ceremony”, where Xolotl will directly transform the children into adults.

Xipl the elder has now come of age and his younger brother, Catl, must stop the ceremony before the irreversible transformation takes place.

Catl must find his way through the temple and save his brother from Xolotl, the God of Death.

USP mechanic

2-character control

• Player controls 2 characters, 1 of Catl, the younger brother, and 1 of Xipl, a solid construct of his elder brother. Players control both at the same time and each can do things that the other cannot. Both must be utilized to reach Catl’s goal.
• Eg. 
• Catl the younger can climb and jump and crawl
• Xipl the elder can interact with items, levers, weights, etc.

Hardware requirement: ANDROID device

Download & install instructions:

1. Use ANDROID device (Phone)
2. Click on Download
3. When download has completed, allow app permission to install
4. Open app
5. Game will start momentarily
